Michael V. Mulligan Ph.D., CMF, a Career Coach who has helped over 2,000 executives and managers advance their career.
Dr. Michael Mulligan is recognized nationally as one of the best Career and Business Coaches in the U.S.A. He has been helping executives and young adults move forward in their career for over 40 years. He is the founder and director of Mulligan & Associates, a boutique career management firm established in 1983. Dr. Mulligan has served as a Fellow Manager with the Institute of Career Certification International and wrote a leading article entitled “How to be an effective outplacement consultant” which was published in 12 editions by Kennedy Information in the Career Management Consulting Firm book. Dr. Mulligan has coached 100 CEOs and Presidents, 400 franchise owners, 500 Chief Level Officers and1, 500 managers and professionals. Earlier Dr. Mulligan served as Management Development Director for Century 21 of Northern Illinois where he helped owners create a business plan and make profit

Dr. Mulligan received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Georgia, M.A. from Michigan State University in counseling and personnel and B.A. in history from Alma College. His doctoral program focused on assessment, counseling, performance motivation and leadership development. He wrote his dissertation on leadership and did an internship working with alcoholics. He can help clients look at their career options because he has helped individuals from all industries and functional areas and done his research in writing six career books and creating 10 assessments.
He worked earlier as an academic advisor at Michigan State, Asst. Director of Admissions at the U of Georgia, Counselor in the Georgia Tech Counseling Center and Regional Director of the American College Testing Program. He served as Chairman of the Career Advisory Council at Alma College
Keith North has worked as a Senior Vice President for Mulligan & Associates over 25 years helping hundreds of clients from all industries and functional areas with career planning and finding employment. He has a M.A. in Administration from Northern Illinois University and B.A. from Cornell College. His earlier career included working in business and career services with young adults in School District 214.
Jerry Donahue has served as Asst. Director of Career Services at the Medill School of Journalism Career Center at Northwestern University, Director of Career Services and Coordinator of Employer Relations at St. Norbert College, Director of the Career Center at Canisius College, Director of Career Placement Services at Indiana University and Career Consultant in the Engineering Career Resource Center, College of Engineering at the University of Michigan
Jerry earned an M.ED. in curriculum and supervision from Loyola University and a B.C.E. in Civil Engineering from the University of Detroit. He is a member of The National Association of Colleges and Employers, Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers and SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management)
